Honestly, Benjamin Lowenkron is one of the most disturbing and epic poets I've in a long time - and when I say "disturbing" I mean his verse is electric, odd, dark, poisonous and intoxicating. I love this book and you need to read it. Smart, challenging and unpredictable, it's really everything poetry should be.
The poem titled "Blessing" (page 78) is my current favorite. Benjamin Lowenkron is ridiculous and I wouldn't expect anything less.
Dark, haunting, and enchanting--the words within these pages pull you in and refuse to free you from their grip. Incredible poetry from an incredibly talented poet.
